New at Five Vines in January
Hello Five Vines Family! Here is our first article detailing the new things coming to Five Vines Wine Bar this January. Now that we have this swanky new website, we will be posting regular bi-monthly (Twice a month, not once every two months) articles on Thursdays. Our first article every month will detail the new and exciting deals, specials, and events here at Five Vines. The second article each month will be an article of interest either detailing information we have come across and how it ties into the fun things we do here or an article delivering the facts and opinions of the Five Vines Family. We look forward to sharing with you!
New Soup of the Month: Lentil Bacon Jalapeno Soup - $8
Even Omar can’t get enough of it!
YUM! Five Vines will now be featuring a monthly rotating soup created by our Chef Omar Ramirez. Start off the New Year with our Lentil Bacon Jalapeno Soup! Perfect mix of savory with a hint of spice and smokey bacon. More than enjoyable in this brisk end of winter.
Flatbread of the Month: Filet Mignon and Mushroom - $15
Steak and red wine? A classic combo.
Desserts of the Month: Peanut Butter Pizookie (1st-16th) & English Toffee Pizookie (16th-31st) - $8

Omar isn’t the only one coming together with something new every month. The amazing Chef Erika Fonseca, the brilliant mind behind the upcoming Roots Deli expansion and our chief dessert maker, will be crafting for your delight two new dessert specials every month.
First, from the 1st to the 16th, we will have the Peanut Butter Cookie Pizookie served warm with a dash of powdered sugar and topped with French Vanilla ice cream and a healthy dose of Omar’s famous bourbon caramel sauce. The perfect pizookie pairing for peanut butter lovers anywhere.
Get the Peanut Butter Pizookie quicky, because in no time at all Erika will serve up her next culinary creation, the English Toffee Pizookie from the 16th to the 31st. As seen in the photo above, the English Toffee Pizookie takes a warm chocolate chip cookie and melts chunks of English Toffee over it. After, we place a sizeable scoop of French Vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Overkill? We think not.
Trivia and Deals of the Week
As a reminder, we are closed on Monday. But for the rest of the week there is always something fun to do at Five Vines Wine Bar.
Tuesday: $2 off all flatbread pizzas. Have a hankering for some flatbreads? Wanna try the new pizza of the month but you are a miserly cheap-o? Join us Tuesday for $2 off all flatbread pizzas.
Wednesday: Wine Down Wednesday! We have a truly unique and artful wine selection at Five Vines. We know for the uninitiated that can be downright terrifying. Don’t worry, we aren’t THOSE type of wine snobs. Join us Wednesday for our $10 surprise wine flights. You only tell your bartender “white” or “red” and prepare to explore these wonderful wines stress free. Let us take care of the rest.
Thursday: “Wine? Bah! Who needs it? Not me. No, I drink the drink of kings and queens. I drink...BEER!” For those of you agree with this idea, our Thirsty Thursday is for you. Not one to forget our beer drinking friends and the simple delight of a fresh pint of craft, on Thursday we give $2 off on all beers. All beers, be it specials, bottle, can or draft. In some cases, that is a $4 or $5 craft beer. Find that deal anywhere else!
Friday and Saturday: Every Friday and Saturday, from 7.30pm - 10.30pm, Five Vines Wine Bar hosts live music. Check our calendar of musicians to see who our selection is for the week.
Sunday: Don’t forget our Five Vines Trivia! Two Sundays every month at 4.00 pm Five Vines Wine Bar becomes a crucible of random knowledge and fun facts. Test your mettle and intellect against the other mental gladiators and prove (as you have always known) that you are smarter than other people. Plus, earn $10 off your tab per round you win. 3 rounds means you could possibly walk away with $30 off your bill! Trivia for January will be on the 12th and 25th.
